Deacon Ronald S. Kitlinski
Deacon Ronald Kitlinski was ordained to the Diaconate
on June 27, 1981 by Bishop Dainel Reilly. His class of 24 was the
first to be ordained to the Diaconate in the Norwich diocese. He
has served as Deacon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help since his ordination.
He served as minister to the sick at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital
from ordination until 1997 when he requested to be assigned to parish
ministry. Deacon Ron is married to Donna Pongetti Kitlinski, has
2 children and 3 grandchildren. Deacon Ron is a native of New London.
He converted to Catholicism in 1969, as a member of Our Lady of
Perpetual Help parish, which was then located in New London. Prior
to his ordination to the Diaconate, Ron took an active role in the
church´s move from New London to Quaker Hill.
