Message from Father Joe
Dear Friends,
The time between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day has just flown by. Today we honor fathers and all their efforts to support and guide their family along the pathways of life. The efforts expended by parents and grandparents, and those who act in their stead, go a long way to ensure their children are acquainted with the message and mission of Jesus Christ. Just as we wished a happy Mother’s Day last month, we now wish a happy Father’s Day to all fathers.
On Tuesday evening we celebrate, with our diocesan family, the wonderful occasion of the ordination of Mr. Chris Schuh to the Order of Deacon. The Rev. Mr. Schuh will spend his summer in a parish under the direction of a seasoned pastor who will supervise and direct his pastoral education and work effort with the family of God. In the fall, Deacon Schuh will return to the seminary to finish his last year and prepare for ordination as a priest next spring. Please pray for him and wish him well.
Thank you for your support of Care Net Baby Bottles for life. Your contributions will enable this organization to support and protect the unborn and their mothers in a pro-life pregnancy resource center. Your continued generosity is very much appreciated.

Do you want to be an Altar Server?
Any Student, 3rd grade and up, who is interested in being an Altar Server, should please call the rectory at 443-1875.
Thank you, Dads, Grandfathers, for all you are, for all you do, and for the example you show each of us.
We love you and we need you so very much!
Today we congratulate our Fathers and ask the Lord
to bless them as they lead their families and strengthen them within the family unit which is the basic and most important of all units created by God. Fathers bring an immeasurable strength to that unit. They bring the gift of their maleness, the protection and dignity of manhood as it was created by God. This is so important and so necessary for the entire family and for each one within the family. These strengths are complimented by the beauty and the strong feminine qualities of motherhood. They create a balance of appreciation and respect which in our modern society has often been forgotten and lost. Today, we are able to give proper expression and love to our Fathers who image our God and strengthen us by their special vocation. God bless each and everyone of you, Fathers. May the Good Lord sustain and strengthen you today and every day of your lives.
CRUSADE OF PRAYER has ended for the summer.
It will resume
Friday, September 12th.

Celebrate the good fortune so many of us have enjoyed by adding to your will a bequest to the Parish or to a Diocesan ministry or to another non-profit service agency.”

June is the month set aside for devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus knew and loved each of us and all of us during his earthly life, during his agony, and during his passion and death. He gave his life for us. He has also loved us all with a divine love. The Heart of Christ is the chief sign and symbol of that love. Our divine redeemer continually loves his Father and continually loves all humanity. We rejoice in and honor that love the rest of June.
